![]() Blown Emu Egg ![]() Emu egg contents are removed by drilling a hole in one end of the egg only, using a one-eighth to one-quarter, or larger, inch drill. Air pressure is then put into the egg to force the contents out. The shell of the egg is quite thick and consists of three colored layers; the outside, which runs from light green to dark green, with some appearing almost black. Under the first layer is a layer of blue, and finally a layer of white. |
